Frequently Asked Questions

What is a hybrid event?

Our pioneering events transcend borders using the power of technology and the internet. Thanks to the power of 5G and streaming software, it’s now possible to Stream. Live streaming is a broadcast of an event on the Internet as it happens. Because gathering is important, and so is the actual beer, in person events take place which hosts watch and dance parties for the fun content that we screen. This is why we refer the events we refer to as Hybrid, and our contributors and participants are pioneers!

What is the benefit of streaming?

Video content is the future of the internet, which is able to deliver high quality audio and video. Most social media platforms offer monetization for active content creators. TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook have been moving into the short video format. Now, even Instagram, Reddit and LinkedIn offer monetization, making these platforms a source of revenue and enables Craft Beer Businesses to increase their reach.

WHat are the benefits of registering for beta?

We developed BETA to address the needs of the smallest breweries who can benefit most from the visibility of being involved in a ground breaking project. A cost conscious registration fee of $24.99 provides exclusive access to 1-on-1 consultations, social media training: grow your Facebook presence with organic reach/no ad spending, as well as expert advice on how to host a streaming event. World Wide Beer Fest has partnered with Craft Beer suppliers, Professional service providers, and Hospitality companies to offer discounts from our marketing and service partners ensure participation is a low cost, high return investment in your Craft Beer Business.

What do I need to know about hosting a dance party?

We promote World Wide Beer Fest screenings as a Free event, and do not charge guests to attend a watch party. Because demand may be high for your event, we recommend you implement safety protocols, including crowd control measures and security if needed. Ensure responsible alcohol service and have a plan in place for dealing with intoxicated guests. Address any potential safety hazards, such as slippery floors or inadequate lighting. While not all of your guests may dance, we recommend a Liability Waiver form for your guests and their children if you allow minors at your venue. This protects your business from any damages in case of an accidental fall or other injury during the screening. We will provide a template for you to customize upon registration.

Do I need special equipment?

Most Taprooms and Breweries already have existing audio visual capabilities such as Smart TVs, projectors and sound systems. A strong WIFI signal is very helpful if network coverage is insufficient to play video. After registration, we provide a technical guide to help you setup, and we have two Dry Runs scheduled prior to BETA. To learn more about specific devices that are needed to host a watch party, tell us about your setup by completing an interest form.

what if I have a change of plans?

We understand that running a Craft Beer business is hard work. Unexpected things happen, and resources can be limited. If for any reason, your business is no longer able to participate in BETA Team, please inform us right away, and we will refund 100% of your registration fee. We offer future opportunities to participate on New Years Eve 2023, and again in the Spring of 2024. BETA will be streamed live on Twitch, so we hope you tune in to watch on October 28!

Is there a limit on how many breweries can involved?

Yes. There are a total of 50 seats available to the General Public to join the Dance Party, and 50 Seats available to the Beer Industry. We can accomodate up to 50 venues - meaning 50 different craft beer businesses can sign up. There are 50 spots for the public. Because the watch parties and online events are free, the audience will be much larger than the 100 Businesses of the BETA Team and Individuals who are signed up. (Each venue has different capacity).

We recommend completing an interest form if you’d like to participate - Taprooms, Bottleshops, Breweries, Craft Beer Related Businesses, Craft Beer Professionals may join the BETA Team, and learn to Host a Watch Party.
